this is my attempt to express my opinions "publicly." that means you can say anything about my comments and opinions "publicly" as well! that sounds fair doesn't it? well...in reading my blog posts it would probably make sense to get to know me just a bit via this page. if you don't care, that's fine. you'll just miss out on my character and why i say things. so here i go.

first things first. as you can plainly tell, i hate capital letters.

second. i'm a christian and probably the only thing you'll see capitalized will be...God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and all that express their name in some way.

third. i'm married to leslie burris. she comes before anybody. that includes you! ha. she is the love of my life, and sometimes the only thing in life i love. we have disagreements. we have our boxing matches in case your wondering. but with just a little bit of getting over it and a little bit of talking it through...well, it works out somehow. especially if she brings me a jug of sweet tea.

fourth. i love to work. when i was a teenager, i absolutely hated it. then, when i hit a certain age or time in my life i decided that somehow i liked it. i like to work "hard" too. but there's a kicker here. i love r & r. you can't enjoy working hard without r & r.

fifth. i love people. i don't like them as much as i love them. i'll be honest. somewhere in my small brain i think i'm the only normal one in this world. ain't that a joke!
